Giving Back

About

Not only do we believe that it is important to give back to our planet, we also feel that it is important to give back to our local community. A couple of fantastic programs in our area are working hard to support adults with special needs. We proudly donate a portion of our proceeds to Backlight Productions & Open Arms Care.

More About Backlight Productions

More About Open Arms Care

We celebrate and honor the dignity of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For more than thirty years Open Arms Care has provided the individuals in our care with opportunities to develop to the maximum of their ability, to live their best life now.

Why These Organizations are Important to Us

Boozy's founders believe that the special needs community is extremely important. Often times, adults with special needs are overlooked or it is assumed that their abilities are far lower than their true potential. At Boozy Candle Co., founders Jason and Zachary have close connections with the special needs community. Both of Jason's sisters are a part of Backlight Productions and continue to thrive in the program. At the same time, Zachary's father has devoted his career to ensuring that adults with intellectual disabilities live life to the fullest while being able to do so as an integral part of their community.

We firmly believe that adults with special needs are extremely capable of so much more than we give them credit for. We support Backlight because they work hard to showcase this potential with each student that they come in contact with. We look forward to continuing to give back to them and promoting their awesome program.
